SLAM JAM TOKYO POP-UP

The Slam Jam retail experience travels to Tokyo with a space which is set to host live performances and one last release of the Nike Blazer Class ’77.

After the success in NYC and Paris, the Slam Jam retail experience travels to Tokyo with a brand new and tailor made architectural concept. From 20 to 24 March 2019, Slam Jam will host its pop-up shop at the cultural hotspot GALLERY COMMON located in the Harajuku district. The space will feature exclusive drops across all days from brands like 1017 ALYX 9SM, Nike, Carhartt WIP, Suicoke, Wacko Maria, Brain Dead and many more, as well as some Slam Jam collaborative items which are also available online.

The opening event will take place on 19 March as of 6 pm and will include performances from ONYX Collective and Sapphire Slows, by invitation only.
Alongside a limited-edition cassette by ONYX Collective, with the support of Tokyo’s Big Love Records, Slam Jam will drop 77 pairs of the Nike Blazer Class ’77. The exclusive pair will also re-release via online raffle on Slam Jam Socialism, as of March 18.

Slam Jam will also celebrate its Tokyo tour throwing a party at Studio Freedom in Shibuya, on 22 March. Line up will see Italian house music godfather Claudio Coccoluto as main act, alongside Sam Fitzgerald b2b Fraser Cooke, and Slam Jam’s DJ Hendrix.
